Body Age Calculator
This tool estimates a “body age” from fitness and lifestyle inputs. It’s for education only and not medical advice.
How this is calculated
We compute a 0–100 wellness score from:
- BMI (target ≈ 22): higher deviation reduces score
- Waist-to-Height ratio (target ≈ 0.50)
- Resting Heart Rate (target ≈ 60 bpm)
- Weekly exercise (target ≈ 150 minutes)
- Sleep (target ≈ 7–9 hours)
- Alcohol (target ≤ 7 drinks/week)
- Smoking (penalty if "Yes")
The body age is estimated as: BodyAge = Age + (50 − Score)/4
, capped to reasonable bounds. It’s an educational estimate — not a clinical measurement.

⚙️ How It Works
The calculator uses a science-inspired wellness score model that considers:
- BMI – how close your weight is to the ideal range
- Waist-to-Height Ratio – a key measure of fitness
- Resting Heart Rate – an indicator of cardiovascular health
- Exercise – minutes per week of physical activity
- Sleep – quality rest between 7–9 hours per night
- Alcohol & Smoking – penalties for unhealthy habits
Your Body Age is then estimated as:
Body Age = Actual Age + (50 − Wellness Score) / 4
